North – Expect thunderstorms today until Wednesday from West Virginia to Maine. Severe weather with high winds and heavy rain are likely. States will also face a heat wave this week from Delaware to Maine, mainly in the mid-Atlantic regions. Temperatures will reach the 90’s, and may even reach the 100’s.

Midwest – Today, states in the Midwest can expect clusters of storms heading their way. On Wednesday, the storms will move to the Great Lakes. Heavy winds along with tornadoes are possible. Tornadoes were reported Monday in Indiana and severe flooding occurred in Ohio around the Columbus area.

West – Calmer weather is lessening the effects of wildfires in California. The state had recently experienced dry, and hot weather but is now experiencing relief with cooler temperatures and high winds.

South – Florida is experiencing heavy downpours and thunderstorms, as the Tropical Depression Four passes by Florida. The Tropical depression has dissipated but now Florida is experiencing the after effects. The odds are slim that a tropical cyclone will form again by the end of the week, but people should take precautions when traveling or transporting their vehicles.
