For today, a low-pressure system is expected to hit from the Rockies to the Plains on Monday and will deliver a snow mixture.

North – Snow will affect from Virginia to New York on Tuesday night. For Wednesday, New York to Maine will have snow and West Virginia to Rhode Island will have a snow mixture. A potential of 6 or more inches is possible for New England states and from Pennsylvania to New York.

South – The current drought condition from Texas to Kansas and from Louisiana to Virginia will be temporarily relieved. 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected in some areas of the south through Wednesday. The lower Mississippi area may experience flooding.

Midwest – For today, the midwestern states will have snow in the afternoon and evening. From South Dakota to Michigan, you can expect temperatures under 20 degrees with snowfall. Most states that are located in the Plains will have 6 inches or less of snowfall. On Tuesday, snow is expected during the day from Kansas to Nebraska and Missouri to Iowa. At night, snow will affect most of the area from Missouri to Oklahoma and may even have freezing rain.

West – Warm weather in Southern California is setting records. The record warm temperatures began again on Sunday and for today and Tuesday, temperatures will be in the mid-70’s to low 80’s. From Wednesday to Thursday, temperatures will slightly go up, and then will drop down to 70’s and 60’s from Friday to Saturday.
