North – Chances of snow for this week will be expected in several Northern states from the Northern parts of New York to Pennsylvania from Tuesday into Wednesday. States around the Great lakes will experience Lake-Effect snow that will affect the Buffalo metro area commute. States along the East coast from North Carolina to Maine have a chance for snow Friday night into Saturday.

South – In Florida, this week will begin with cooler temperatures and precipitation. Precipitation will also travel from Texas to South Carolina. Southern states on Saturday will also experience blasts of arctic air from South Carolina to Mississippi and from Arkansas to Tennessee.

Midwest – States in the Midwest including the Western part of Michigan will experience Lake effect snow through Thursday.  The storm will have everything from thunderstorms and heavy rain to blizzard conditions. It will sweep across from the plains into the Midwest from Illinois to Arkansas

West – Wildfires in California continue to grow in Ventura County as of yesterday. An emergency evacuation was ordered with 27,000 people forced to leave the Santa Paula and Ventura areas. Nearly 150 structures were destroyed as the fire quickly burned and leaving many in surrounding areas without power. Proceed with caution when traveling around these areas and expect traffic delays.
