North – The Northeast and East coast have a potential for snow from Wednesday into Thursday. From New Hampshire to Virginia, the states near the coastline should expect light snow conditions. Northern Maine should expect to see the heaviest snowfall for the week. This may delay vehicle transportation to the Northern states.

South – States in the U.S. that are as far south as Florida may  experience rare icy conditions. This may cause delays in transporting your vehicles. From North Carolina to Georgia, they will also be expecting a glazing of ice near the coastline through Wednesday.

West – California’s wildfires may finally experience relief with cooler temperatures and less dry heat. Damper weather is expected from a storm system moving towards the coast of California. The jet stream will deliver most air with an increased potential for rain and higher humidity. The increase in humidity will help firefighters to put out the flames due to a lessened threat for new fires to ignite.

Midwest – Midwestern states are currently experiencing dangerous wind chills at extremely low temperatures.  From North Dakota to Minnesota, the wind chill over the weekend was below 50 degrees. The Midwest is continuing to see degrees soar below 50 degree wind chills, so be prepared when traveling through the area.
