Faced with an altered world in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Direct Connect Auto Transport decided to make additions to the services they provide customers. It’s helped the company not only serve clients better but also come out even stronger while weathering the economic hit taken during the pandemic.
The new services include sanitizing the car with a spray that kills 99.9% of all germs and viruses, meaning that all cars arrive at their destination clean and safe.
“We had to make some adjustments. We didn’t do sanitizing. We didn’t do home delivery before this happened,” said Costelac, referring to the pandemic. “When this happened, we had to innovate, we had to pivot. The companies that are pivoting are the ones that are surviving.”
Direct Connect Auto Transport Founder and CEO John Costelac said in a YouTube post that the changes benefit both his customers and the future of the company, which continues to expand in 2020.
How Customers Benefit From New Services
In another post, Costelac offered an example of how the new services work. A customer called to ask for complete cleaning and sanitizing of her vehicles, which she uses to transport her children. The Direct Connect Auto Transport team got the job done in one visit.
The company is doing the same for the many car dealerships they work within South Florida. Today, customers don’t have to go to a dealership to buy a car. Instead, they can order a car online and have it delivered. Direct Connect Auto Transport is the company that handles the move, transporting the car from the dealership to the buyer’s home.
They also completely sanitize and clean the vehicle. They offer a sticker to verify that the car has been sanitized. It’s part of the company’s specialization in “last mile” delivery.
Costelac said the decision to add these services came from his vow not to “sit back and do nothing” as people became more concerned about the virus. He wanted to give customers comfort in knowing that his business had raised the level of its service.
