North – Weather over the past week in the Northeast dropped in temperatures, with many states experiencing colder weather in the high 20’s to 40’s. To start the week on Monday night, snow and windy conditions will spread across the Northern tier. A snow mixture will start in the Great Lakes and spread from Michigan to Maine. Expect a snow mixture from Northwest Pennsylvania to New York and New Jersey to New York. This will include snow, freezing rain and sleet. There is a chance of light snow to dust Boston, Massachusetts from Monday night into Tuesday morning and will then turn to rain. Expect travel delays especially from New York to Vermont, where snow will be most prevalent.

South – The Southern states will experience a dry spell from today through Thursday. The frequent rainfall from the past six weeks in the South has led to rivers from Florida to Mississippi and Virginia running at or above flood stages.

Midwest – For midwestern states from Ohio to Michigan, expect a snow mixture from Monday into Tuesday. Expect snow, freezing rain and ice to slow down your commute for the beginning of the week. These states could see a total of six inches of snow along with icy driving conditions for Tuesday morning.
West – Throughout the week, expect snow and rain from New Mexico to Washington. The snow and rain started over the weekend and is expected to continue throughout the week
