North – From Virginia to New York, expect severe rain and wind. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out at this time. From mid to late week, a jet stream of cold air traveling from the South will bring cold weather and light snow in Pennsylvania and New York. For Election day from Florida to Maine, you can expect scattered rain and thunderstorms and heavy winds.

South – Severe storms with the highest threat for tornadoes are expected again for the Southern states from Eastern Texas to Kentucky for today until tonight. Tornadoes are likely along with heavy winds and rain. From Tuesday morning to Tuesday night, Alabama to North Carolina will have severe weather including heavy rain and potential tornadoes.

Midwest – From mid to late week, scattered accumulations of light snow will be near the Great Lakes from Michigan to Indiana and from South Dakota to North Dakota. Wisconsin to Iowa may also see a light snow accumulation.

West – For states in the west, Oregon to Washington will experience partial cloudy weather throughout most of the week with scattered showers. From California to Colorado, there will be mostly sunny weather with partial cloudy weather throughout the week.
