North – The North is expecting a heat wave for this June, as temperatures have soared to 90 and even 100 degrees in certain areas. The heat wave is traveling from North Carolina to Massachusetts and from Ohio to New York. People are advised to stay indoors and keep cool when temperatures reach this high.

 

Midwest – Almost 90 thousand people were left without power from the Midwest storm on Sunday. From South Dakota to Wisconsin, severe hail and winds caused damaging effects. For the rest of the week, high winds and moisture are likely to create severe storms. Tornadoes are likely to occur this week, so expect delays if you are transporting your car through this area.

 

South – Severe weather threats in the South which is now having strong winds and heavy rain in Texas. The sky looked like a wide tornado, but only resulted in severe rain storms. Heavy downpours are expected until Tuesday in Texas.

 

West – Weather for Los Angeles, California will be beautiful and sunny this week with highs in the mid 80’s. Some states out West are experiencing snow in June. From Montana to Nevada, snow fell yesterday and will continue into tomorrow. Snow accumulation can be anywhere from 1 to 8 inches, with more snow accumulating higher up in the Sierra Mountains.
