Winter Storm Maya will affect the Midwest to the Northeastern states from Monday into Wednesday of this week. Be aware that this will affect road conditions and may affect auto transportation.

North – Winter Storm Maya is expected to hit from Virginia to Maine from Tuesday to Wednesday. Maya is expected to deliver snow, freezing rain and sleet – which will affect parts of Interstate 95 before changing completely to rain.

South – There will be flooding warnings from the Midwest to Southern states particularly in the Ohio and Mississippi Valleys. An overabundance of rain will create river flooding and flash floods from Illinois to Indiana and from Missouri to Arkansas.

Midwest – Winter Storm Maya has already started this morning in the Midwest from North Dakota to Michigan which will intensify in the Great Lakes and upper Midwest for tonight. Freezing rain and sleet will affect roads and travel conditions, which may even close major airports. A snow mixture on Tuesday will continue through Wednesday from Wisconsin to Ohio.
West – Winter Storm Nadia will continue to bring more snow through Thursday to the Northwestern states this week from Washington to California and even parts of the Midwest. For Seattle, Washington – snow and rain are likely and may create poor travel conditions for today and tomorrow.
