North – For the Northern states this week, expect blizzard-like conditions especially for the Northern Plains. Winter storm watches for the North are effective from Northeast Pennsylvania to New York and Massachusetts to Maine. Bitter cold temperatures will be experienced around in parts of the Midwest and Northeast from 30 to 50 degrees below zero.

South – Winter Storm Jayden will also affect states in the South on Tuesday. Expect snow from East Tennessee to North Carolina and from North Georgia to Alabama. From Virginia to Southern New England, parts of Interstate 95 can experience rain at first and switch over to on-and-off snow. Michigan has at least 6 inches of snow forecast for this week.

Midwest – Winter Storm Jayden has already made its way through the Midwest states and Great Lakes from Wisconsin to Indiana. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jayden had blizzard conditions that affected South Dakota to North Dakota and Wyoming.  The combination of heavy snow and winds shut down Interstate 90 in Northeast Wyoming. Temperatures will plummet in the Midwest and Northeastern states this week.

West – As for states in the West, Colorado experienced its 4th Winter storm of the month. Major roads and highways are closed including Eastbound on I-70, I-25 and U.S. Highway 6. Denver is currently on accident alert; do not drive in this weather unless it is absolutely necessary. Blizzard-like conditions will improve by Wednesday for a short time, with a possibility of morning snow on Thursday for Colorado.
