Alabama is a US state located in the Southeastern region of the country. Their transportation department called The Alabama Department of Transportation. A popular highway traveled in Alabama is Highway I-65, additionally, Alabama boasts 53 miles of coastline. There are many landmarks Alabama is known for, such as the Bankhead Tunnel, which is located on US Route 98 under the Mobile River. Little River Falls is a part of Alabama’s natural setting, which has played a large role in developing the state. Also, Alabama’s Lake Eufaula is called the “Bass Fishing Capital of the World”. There are also 11 historic bridges throughout the state of Alabama.
