Major cities include Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburg and Allentown. Major highways in Pennsylvania include highway I-78, I-84, I-86, and I-99. The department of transportation is called The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation or PennDOT.

Pennsylvania is home to the Liberty Bell, an iconic symbol of American independence, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The largest river that passes through Pennsylvania is the The Susquehanna River, a river located in the northeastern region of the country. At 464 miles long, it is the longest river on the American east coast that drains into the Atlantic Ocean. Lastly, Pennsylvania is famously known for steak and cheese subs, specifically in Philadelphia. Additionally, The Philadelphia Museum of Art is among the largest art museums in the United States. It has collections of more than 227,000 objects that include “world-class holdings of European and American paintings, prints, drawings, and decorative arts”.
