When it comes to transporting your vehicle, sometimes you may not realize a major factor and importance to getting your vehicle to its destination safely and on time is the driver. The driver has a big responsibility; after all they are not only transporting your vehicle, but many other customers’ vehicles at same time. The driver has his hands full, not only does he have the responsibility of your vehicle, but also has to worry about road hazards and bad drivers. As a customer, there are things you can do to your vehicle to help make the transport trip an easier and safer one for the driver. One thing you as the customer can do is make sure the driver is able to drive your vehicle. Making sure your vehicle is drivable is important, because if a situation arises where your vehicle needs to be moved its important there is nothing stopping the driver from doing so. Remember, the driver is the link to getting your vehicle to its destination in a timely manner and any small steps you can make to help ensure the process goes smoothly would be great.

Safety is very important and at any point during transport the driver might encounter things like bath weather, accidents on the road, bad drivers and any other thing you might think of. One thing we tell customers is to make sure the driver is able to turn off the alarm if need be. There are many types of alarms and making sure yours is turned off or disabled will make sure the driver is not distracted while driving by having to listen to a car alarm the whole time. Of course our goal is to get your vehicle to its destination as quickly as possible, but ensuring it is done safely is always most important.
