Kentucky is a state located in the eastern south-central region of the United States. In 2014, Kentucky had an estimated population of 4,413,457. A major highway in Kentucky is Highway I-71. The transportation department is known as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Most famously known as the home of the Kentucky Derby, Kansas has a rich culture deep in American history. Daniel C. Beard, the founder of the Boy Scouts of America, boyhood’s homes is located in Covington, Kentucky. The Covington & Cincinnati Suspension Bridge was used as the prototype for New York’s Brooklyn Bridge. The Muhammad Ali Center, a museum and cultural center built as a tribute to the champion boxer and his values, is located in Louisville’s “Museum Row.”
