As summer begins today, we see vastly different weather patterns across the U.S.

North

For the North, states From Massachusetts to New York will be experiencing warm and dry temperatures for the week, starting the first day of summer off at 90 degrees. The rest of the week will be averaging in the 70’s. This is a great opportunity to transport any vehicle this week!

South

We are seeing scattered rain storms across Texas, generally in the Houston area. Tropical storm Danielle is in Mexico and is slowly headed for Texas. A heat advisory for Southeast Texas this week is on its way. High temperatures will peak in the 90’s, making transportation through this area a bit difficult.

West
California has its first Strawberry moon in 70 years. The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer and also the longest day of the year with the greatest amount of sunshine. Meanwhile, the heatwave continues in Southern California, causing dry heat and massive wildfires. Some areas have exceeded 100 degrees and temperatures are expecting to rise. Areas from California to New Mexico will have soaring temperatures for this week.

 

Midwest

Severe weather is expected to hit the plains in the Midwest. From to Wyoming and Nebraska and Colorado to Kansas, storms are expected with a potential for tornadoes. Rain, hail, heavy winds may have a damaging effect on any vehicles passing through the area. Proceed with caution this week when travelling through this area.
