Hurricane Oscar will directly affect Bermuda this week, and may cause rip currents along the Eastern Coast of the U.S.

North – For Wednesday evening, Western Pennsylvania to Maine is likely to have thunderstorms and rain which may lead to flash floods. From the East coast from North Carolina to New Hampshire From Wednesday to Friday expect mild to cooler temperatures.

South – Hurricane Oscar in Bermuda may affect states in the South including Florida. Oscar is expected to drift out to sea and not affect the U.S. Wind speed and direction may slightly alter the path, which may cause dangerous rip currents along the coastline of the U.S. This may affect transportation on the coastline from Florida to Maine, including ship departure. On Wednesday night from Florida to South Carolina, expect mild, dry weather. Texas will see especially severe weather from Wednesday to Thursday with potential flash floods and possible tornadoes, which can affect both trick-or-treating and transportation.

Midwest – For anyone that plans to go Trick-or-Treating from Ohio to Texas, expect heavy rain and thunderstorms from Wednesday to Thursday. Expect travel delays, as some areas can receive up to 6 inches of rain with potential flash flooding.

West – Further storms in the U.S. will include rain and potential snow from Washington to  Montana and Oregon From Monday into Midweek.
