North – Across New England, you can expect unusually warm weather for this season. Warm weather in the high 70s to low 80s is expected from Massachusetts to Maine. Rain is likely in the 2nd half of the week in New England.

South – A severe threat to Southern and Midwestern states is on its way for this week. A cold front today will move from Texas into the Great Lakes. Damaging hail, strong winds and tornadoes are possible. Two wildfires in Florida called for evacuations, which shut down I-275. One wildfire was in the South of Orlando, and the other fire was West of Tampa. Power is currently out in parts of Tampa; expect transportation delays. Flooding is also a concern in Texas today as the thunderstorms continue throughout the week.

Midwest – Expect heavy rain and hail today in Montana. The hail and rainstorm started Sunday night, from Montana to Nebraska, with 3 inch pieces of hail. There is a severe weather threat in the Midwest today with a potential for damaging winds and thunderstorms from Minnesota to Iowa. For tomorrow, severe storms will travel from Illinois to Michigan.

West – For weather in California this week, you can expect weather to be sunny and in the 70s. A red flag warning was issued on Saturday due to threats for fires. Since its humidity was low with high winds, outdoor burning is discouraged at this time. Along with threats for wildfires, blowing dust closed down major highways like I-10 from Arizona to New Mexico.
