As we recover from the blizzard last week that rocked the Midwest, we will still continue to have have more snowfall. In the Northeast, winter storm Nacio hit Monday afternoon with continuing snow showers toward the Appalachians, East into New Jersey, and the New York City Metro area. The highest amount of snow reported from this storm was in Rothsville, Pennsylvania with 7.6 inches.

Other areas of the South were also affected by the storm, with States like Alabama getting 2.5 inches of snow. The storm went as far south as the northern parts of Georgia, and moved up to Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, southern Ohio, and Pennsylvania. However, Florida was not affected by the storm, and  for this week will be mostly sunny with partial clouds. Weather there will be averaging a temperature of around 70 degrees.

Additional snowfall will be light today, with 1 to 3 inches of snow in the Appalachians and into Northeastern New England. Most traveling should be okay due to the light snow conditions.

Areas in western U.S. like California will be sunny all week with an average temperature of 85 degrees, which will be perfect conditions for transportation.
