North – The northern states has the possibility to see tornadoes over the next three months. From Virginia to Vermont, the humid air has a chance of fueling possible tornado weather. Expect rain from Tuesday into Wednesday this week from North Carolina to Maine. This may cause minor flooding and delay travel.

South – Since April and May are the peak months for tornadoes, be prepared for tornado outbreaks. The greatest tornado risk is from Florida to Texas and Oklahoma to Indiana. Tornadoes from Louisiana to Florida were confirmed this weekend. In Florida, a waterspout came ashore on Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island which damaged trees, homes, power lines and vehicles. This happened 140 miles west of Tallahassee. If you are travelling through this area, proceed with caution.

Midwest – The Midwest will also be threatened with tornadoes over the next 3 months. From North Dakota to Ohio, expect to see more tornadoes and severe weather. For Illinois, expect perfect weather for transporting a vehicle, with less rain and drier conditions for this week.

West – Warm weather for the west coast is expected this week, especially in California and Oregon. Brush Fires are especially a threat during the April to May Spring months.
