Southern Mississippi – Flood waters rise along the Southern Mississippi River and continue to cover roads and houses. The damage from the floods will be about 1 billion dollars, and damages are expected to occur more. Missouri DOT is now currently trying to pump flood waters off of I-55.

Northern Mississippi – Weather will be mostly sunny this week with a slight chance of rain in the middle of the week. Temperature and windchill will average around 35 degrees F.

Western Mississippi – The weather forecast for Western Mississippi is mostly clear and sunny. During the middle of the week, weather will be partly cloudy and showers, that might slow down traffic.

Eastern Mississippi – Weather will be mostly clear for potential of rain during the mid-week. Cold weather will be moving down from Canada towards the South East, hitting all areas of Mississippi mostly towards the night.
