North

The North had experienced winter storm Argos over the weekend of almost over 2 feet of snow in some areas. High winds, and slippery driving conditions can cause possible road closures for this week. Upstate New York was hit hard Sunday night with snowfall accumulating up to 17.5 inches. Snow is continuing to fall in certain areas from New Jersey to Maine. Snow for Thanksgiving should be expected from Pennsylvania to Maine.

Midwest

Winter storm Argo affected the Midwest this weekend with snowfall ranging from 10 to 20 inches.  Thanksgiving travel is expected to be slowed down throughout Central U.S. On Tuesday the Midwest is supposed to have another snowstorm, but for Thanksgiving, the temperature for the Midwest from Illinois to Michigan will range from the high 30’s to the low 50’s.

West

From Colorado to Wyoming, these states were also affected by the storm last week receiving 10 to 20 inches of snow. Interstate 80 in Wyoming was closed last Thursday due to snow, and further accidents and slide offs are causing dangerous driving conditions. Expect traffic to be delayed around these states especially near the Colorado Rockies. For Thanksgiving, some snow will be expected from Washington to Oregon and from Nevada to Wyoming.

South

Thanksgiving weather for Southern states from Texas to Florida can expect sunny weather from the high 60’s to the low 70’s. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and potential lightning may occur from Arizona to New Mexico on Thursday.
