Flooding is a major issue for many states in the U.S. this week, especially in South Carolina. The damage will take years to clean up and there are still ongoing rescue missions.

North – Expect noticeable humidity from Virginia to Pennsylvania on Monday. On Tuesday, there will be rain and thunderstorms from New York to MaineFrom Massachusetts to Connecticut, there will be showers from Monday to Tuesday and partially cloudy weather from Wednesday to Sunday.

South – Flash flooding is possible early this week in the desert Southwest from California to Utah. Arizona will also experience flash flooding from the heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Rosa, which will make landfall early today. People are encouraged to stay indoors due to the dangerous rip currents in California and also the heavy winds. Expect potential evacuations, travel delays and power outages. Current flooding conditions in South Carolina will take years to recover; rescue teams are still helping to get citizens in the area to safe grounds.  From Southern Florida to Texas, there will be thunderstorms and heavy rain midweek.

Midwest – Severe weather in the midwest states from Wisconsin to Nebraska from Monday to Wednesday night. Severe storms and heavy rain will bring big changes to the drier conditions in the Upper Midwest states.
West – Expect heavy rain showers in Oregon for today, particularly in Portland,  along with much cooler temperatures.
