North – Temperatures will be warmer temporarily for the Northern states this week. Temperatures will reach the high 50’s for New York. From Rhode Island to Massachusetts, expect partly cloudy weather with chances of rain toward the end of the week. Conditions along I-95, especially from from Pennsylvania to Connecticut – should be great for transporting your vehicle. 

South – States in the South from Utah to Texas have not been experiencing much drought relief. For Oklahoma, more than ⅓ of the state is in the extreme drought category. Texas and Kansas are also experiencing significant drought conditions, but they may experience relief from the severe storm expected this week. Scattered thunderstorms will move from Texas to Oklahoma today, with hail and damaging winds that may cause power outages.

Midwest – Heavy snow over the weekend was brought by Winter storm Uma to the Midwest states. From Minnesota to Illinois, there was over a foot of snow. Illinois reported near blizzard conditions, and Iowa had unusual lightning storms during the snow.

WestCalifornia to Colorado are currently experiencing drought conditions along with Oregon. Washington will experience rain from Wednesday to Saturday along with cooler temperatures.
