North – Weather in the Northeast in states like New York and Massachusetts will have temperatures in the high 80s and will experience partly cloudy weather. From Connecticut to Massachusetts, it will rain towards the end of the week. The tropical storm in Florida should not affect the Northern states.

South – A state of emergency is declared off the Southeast coast of the U.S. Tropical Storm Emily made its way ashore Florida’s central Gulf Coast today and will be moving inland on Tuesday. Expect rainfall until Tuesday along with flash flooding. This is currently the fifth storm named during the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season. Power outages were reported as well as 40mph winds. Oklahoma recently had a tornado that damaged 50 houses, stretching a course of about 150 miles.  

West – A heatwave this week for the West will reach record temperatures by midweek. In some states, temperatures will be above the century mark. From Utah to Washington, be prepared for a hot week.
Midwest – Weather from Ohio to Wisconsin will reach temperatures in the low 80s and will rain towards the end of the week.
