North -A jet stream traveling from the West during winter Storm Helena is going to bring cold air to Eastern and Northern States this week. From Tuesday to Wednesday, Winter storm Gregory will bring snow for New Hampshire and Vermont, where the Snow fall will be from 3 to 5 inches. The dangerous snow and ice conditions will continue throughout the week. Towards the end of the week, New York to Pennsylvania will receive heavy snow.

East – As storm Helena will hit primarily the West and South this week with snow, a cool jet stream will follow, bringing cold air to the Eastern states. From South Carolina to Virginia, there will be snow on Saturday, possibly accompanied by ice and rain.

South – Winter Storm Helena is heading towards the Southern states for this week. Snow is expected for this weekend from Northern New Mexico to Texas. Snow will also be expected from Arkansas to Tennessee  from Friday to Saturday. Along with snow, icy conditions will also be expected towards the end of the week. Driving conditions when transporting cars will be slick due to the unpredictable winter weather.

West – Winter storm Helena is going to hit the Western states this week. States from Colorado to Oregon will receive snow, with an average of 5-8 inches of snow. California will not only be hit with heavy snow this week, but will also have large amounts of rain. Last week California received record amounts of water – way more than it has seen in years! The rain this month in California is combating the drought condition it was having earlier this year.
