North

For the Weather in Connecticut, other than pollen count being up, temperature will average about 60 with highs from 70 to 77.  Weather this week will expect to be mild. Sunny temperatures will be expected most days, and rain showers are likely for Friday.

 

West

Areas like California are expected to have beautiful weather this week. Los Angeles and Orange County will have temperatures averaging at about 80 degrees, where transportation should be good for the west.

 

In the Midwest, a large storm will bring rainfalls to the plains. Heavy rainfall is expected from South Dakota to Texas and will slowly move Eastward. Rainfall from 2 to 8 inches will occur, with heavier rainfall likely from Texas to Louisiana. Transportation may be difficult, especially moving more towards the South.

 

South

Disaster hits Texas as a life-threatening flood calls for many rescues. People were told to stay off the roads by National guard, as the flooding worsened. Houses were flooded along with 60 water rescues reported by emergency officials. 150 flights were cancelled at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport due to 8.85 inches of rain. Schools in the Houston area were closed, along with roads. The Southeast of Texas had reports of 10 to 20 inches of rainfall. 70 plus subdivisions in Houston were flooded, and transportation in the Houston area will be difficult due to closed roads.
