From last week, the snow flurries are continuing, as the Northeast is expecting to have snow. If you are planning to pick up your car, be aware of the weather and driving conditions. Major winter storm Jonas is planning to approach parts of the Mid Atlantic and Northeast.

New York and Boston will have around 12 inches on Saturday 1/23 and Washington will have about 2 feet. The snow will be powdery, and weather forecasters are saying it is too soon to know whether this will be a monster storm. But, it is not too soon to go to the store to buy ice melt and a shovel. Many are preparing for this storm by purchasing heaters, shovels and sleds.

There is a moderate threat from weather going from Friday into Saturday from Tennessee, to Maine and into Canada. Drifting snow and coastal flooding are possible. Major travel delays are expected along with roads expecting to be tough for driving conditions.
