North – Severe thunderstorms are likely from Virginia to New York, with heavy winds and a few possible tornadoes. Travel delays are expected along major highways in the North due to impaired visibility from the rain. Another storm is arriving from Wednesday into Thursday bringing rain and heavy wind, and coastal flooding. Snow is possible this week in parts of Pennsylvania.
 
East – A winter weather advisory is in effect for Southern Colorado for today. From Utah to Colorado, a wintry mix including snow, rain and high winds will be expected for the beginning of this week until Wednesday.
 
Midwest – Severe thunderstorms this week from Ohio to Illinois from Tuesday to Thursday are likely. Heavy, damaging winds and large hail are expected for this area.
 
South – There were major storms throughout the Southern states this weekend. From Texas to Louisiana, a possible tornado touched down, killing two people in Louisiana. From North Florida to Georgia, severe storms were reported with heavy winds and scattered thunderstorms. Georgia had 15 reported tornadoes on Monday, more towards the center of the state. Severe thunderstorms will continue in the South throughout the week from Texas to North Carolina.
