Nebraska is a U.S state that lies in the the great plains and the midwestern region of the United States. Nebraska is known as the “Cornhusker” State. As of 2014 Nebraska had an estimated population of 1,881,503. Major cities include Lincoln, Omaha, and Bellevue. Nebraska is bordered by South Dakota on the north and Colorado and Kansas on the south. On the east, Nebraska is bordered by Iowa and Missouri. The department of transportation is called The Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR). Nebraska is home to many natural landmarks, which are great for sightseeing. Among these sights are Chimney Rock, Scotts Buff, Saddle Rock, and Courthouse and Jail Rocks. Nebraska is also home to the Strategic Air and Space Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, along Interstate 80 southwest of Omaha.
