Missouri is a U.S State located in the midwestern United States. Missouri is known as the “Show Me” State. As of 2014, Missouri had an estimated population of 6,063,589. Major cities include Jefferson City, Kansas City, St Louis, and Springfield. Major Highways in Missouri are I-29, I-57, I-64, I-72. The department of transportation is called Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). The Gateway Arch is Missouri’s most famous attraction. It is a 640 ft monument in St. Louis, that currently stands as the worlds tallest arch and tallest monument in the Western Hemisphere. The arch was built as a monument to the westward expansion of the United Sates. The Christopher Bond Bridge is a cable-stay bridge that hovers over the Missouri River. In 2010 it replaced the Paseo Bridge, and in 2014 the bridge was lit royal blue to honor the Kansas City Royals when they won the World Series
