North – Severe thunderstorms were ravishing through the Northeast area this past weekend and will continue to ramp up activity on Tuesday. Areas from North Carolina to Maine will receive high winds and rain, along with chances of flooding. I-80, I-81 and I-90 will be affected through these areas, so be sure to expect delays when transporting your car throughout the North. Along with rain, heat waves will also be affecting the Northeastern states.

 
South – Intense Flooding in Louisiana over the weekend stranded thousands, and resulted in over 1,000 water rescues. This historic event had record high flooding from 20-30 inches of water. Hundreds of cars were stranded affecting Southern Louisiana especially near the Baton Rouge area. This major flood caused a tropical depression in the area, costing the country over a billion dollars.

 
Midwest – Flooding occurred over the weekend in the Midwest area to the Northeast from Illinois to Massachusetts. The prolonged flooding is due to tropical air rising up stream from the Gulf of Mexico. Damaging winds are expected to continue in the Midwest throughout the week.

 
West – Weather in Washington should be sunny for the whole week and average temperatures of about 75 degrees. In California, quick-moving wildfires are spreading throughout the North. The fire had destroyed over 100 homes and burned 3,000 acres. Many people throughout the area were forced to flee from their homes. The heat wave in California has reached an all-time high of 113 degrees, which also may delay travelling throughout the area due to excessive heat.
