General Motors has recalled their Pontiac G8 model due to malfunctioning airbags in the front seat on the passenger’s side. This applies to vehicles that were built in 2007-2008. The problem became made aware to GM due to possibilities that the airbag for this vehicle model did not meet standards in regards to fully preventing head injury protection. GM has stated that no one has been injured as a result of the airbags. The vehicles were manufactured in Australia and were then shipped to the United States to be sold.
