North – Showers will affect states in the Northeast on and off for this week. Along with rain, thunderstorms and flooding are likely to happen. In New York and Massachusetts, the rainstorms will be the steadiest throughout the Northeast.

South – For the last week of April, severe storms including tornadoes are likely for some of the Southern states. From Wednesday to Saturday, severe storms are expected from Texas to Illinois. From the central plains to the Mississippi Valley, these areas will be affected the most this week. Strong winds, possible tornadoes and large hail are all likely. A flood threat from Virginia to South Carolina is also likely for this week, as a low-pressure system with high tides with heavy rainfall loves up the East Coast. Over the weekend, certain areas of the Southern Appalachians were hit with floods including Tennessee.

West – As for West Coast states like California, Los Angeles will be sunny for a majority of the week, with average temperatures of 80 degrees. For Spring weather in Colorado this week, you can expect a mix of cloudy weather and rain, with a potential for Snow on Saturday.

East – Heavy rain is possible for the Northern states from Monday to Tuesday. States affected will be from South Carolina to Maine. A couple inches of rain may cause travel delays, so proceed with caution when transporting your vehicle.
