Texas is a US state located in the south central region of the country. It is known as the “Lonestar State.”And as of 2014, Texas had an estimated population of 26,956,958. Major cities include Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Major highways in Texas are Highway I-2, I-20, I-27, I-30, I-35, I-37, I-44, I-45 and I-69. The department of transportation is called Texas Department of Transportation or also TXDOT.
Texas is the 2nd largest and most populous state in America and here are some of its biggest attractions. The San Antonio River Walk is a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath the streets of Downtown San Antonio, Texas. Texas is the only state in the nation that is allowed to keep its flag at the same height as the US flag.
