There’s a good chance that if you’ve ever been stuck in rush hour traffic that the following thought crossed your mind: “Even I could build better roads than this.” And while that may or may not be true it is a question that should always be on the mind of the people who are actually in charge of building roads. It looks like we lucked out on that front because not only is the Secretary of Transportation, Anthony Foxx, thinking about how to build better roads but he’s thinking about making them work for the next 30 plus years. Take a look at this video of him discussing the transportation challenges facing the US, chief among them the fact policymakers are too focused on the here and now instead of looking further.

Here at Direct Connect Automobile Transport we know the importance of our transportation infrastructure being an ever-evolving part of this country. No where is this more apparent than in this interview with DCA owner John Costelac discussing the then recent broker regulatory changes which went into effect early last year. At any rate, we hope that Anthony Foxx is successful because we know better than anyone that transportation is the backbone of this country.
