A powerful storm this week spread throughout the Midwest, covering areas like Colorado and Nebraska. Interstate 70 in Colorado in closed down, due to the heavy snow. The snow that covered the midwest created a nightmare for drivers, and cancelled many flights. Snow and strong winds knocked out power and closed down highways.
While the attention of the country focused on Iowa for the caucuses this week, drivers had to contend with freezing conditions, with an average of 20 degrees. A blizzard hit Iowa yesterday, making transportation conditions impossible for many people. The blizzard conditions could complicate the candidate’s plans to leave Iowa on Tuesday. Iowa will continue to be partly cloudy for the next few days, and towards the end of the week, there is will be a chance of snow mixed with rain.
However, as we observe the weather in Hawaii, they had perfect weather this week. The weather this week in Hawaii will be mostly sunny, with a few days this week partially cloudy. The weather there will be at an average of 80 degrees,. making it perfect weather for transportation or laying out in the sun. We all wish we could be in Hawaii!
